Answer to Question 1

A souffl is a baked egg dish in which the eggs are separated; a thick batter is prepared with the yolks where flavor such as chocolate is added. The egg whites are beaten to incorporate air, until stiff foam is formed. The batter and the foam are folded together and baked.
