What were your favorite parts of your previous job?
Did you use standardized recipes in your previous position?
Do you have any dishes or menu items that you consider to be your personal favorites to cook?
What would you substitute for sour cream in a recipe if it were not available? for fresh onions? for brown sugar?

Any questions that would allow an employer to discriminate based on age, race, religion, sex, marital status, or national origin are illegal in most states.
