The consistency would depend on her tolerance at that time, but the constituents would be kcals to meet her needs plus additional kcals to gain weight and high protein. I would recommend a multiple vitamin/mineral mix.

Answer to Question 2

BEE = 66 + 13.7  wt + 5  ht - 6.8  age
= 66 + 13.7  72 + 5  177.8  6.8  58
= 66 + 986 + 889  394
= 1547

Using a stress factor of 1.5, his total caloric requirement is: 1547  1.5 = 2320 kcals.
