Yes, because it is like doing isometrics on a continuing basis.

Answer to Question 2

The literature reports a possible relationship of elevated homocysteine levels and atherosclerosis. Homocysteine is an amino acid that requires B12, B6, and folate to be metabolized. Without adequate supplies of these three vitamins, homocysteine will build up and possibly precipitate atherosclerosis.
