Answer to Question 1

Frequently, breakfast postprandial blood glucose levels rise excessively. It is not uncommon to provide high protein as previously explained for calories and a low carbohydrate load. The juice would increase the blood glucose rapidly so more complex carbohydrate is preferred.

Answer to Question 2

Hgb and hct are slightly low. The hgb abnormality is so close it probably would not be counted as low. However, these two being low could indicate a slight anemia. MCV is very low indicating a very small cell. MCH is also low indicating the mean hgb per cell is low, which would be expected with the cell size being so small.

lymph is also slightly low and would indicate protein deficiency, but this has nothing to do with the anemia in this case.
