Answer to Question 1

 Fe and Zn, due to a lack of meat in the diet.
 Vit C, B vitamins due to a lack of fruit and lack of variety of vegetables in the diet.
 Lack of Ca due to inadequate milk and cheese intake.
 Possible vit A, D, & E deficiency because of the above.

Answer to Question 2

Carafate: antacids may decrease binding of this drug to the gastroduodenal mucosa, impairing effectiveness. Do not give within 30 minutes of each other.

ALternaGEL: decreased antibiotic effect with tetracycline. Separate administration times.

Pepcid: none significant.
