Answer to Question 1

D
Risk of PUD increases with chronic use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Certain anti-biotics and magnesium-aluminum antacids may decrease risk of PUD. Laxatives and stool sof-teners do not affect risk of PUD.

Answer to Question 2

1
Rationale: There are multiple products including herbs, botanicals, vitamins, minerals, and other products classified as dietary supplement. Clients may not be aware of the many products that are considered dietary supplements. They may also not be aware of the many forms the supplements can be marketed in. Being as specific as possible can be helpful to educate the client about dietary supplements and to elicit information about their use.
