Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
Assuming a 1.1- to 4.4-pound weight gain occurred in the first trimester, normal-weight females are urged to gain approximately 1 pound each week during the second and third trimester. Each trimester is approximately 13 weeks; therefore, 4.4 pounds + 7 pounds = 11.4 pounds.

Dyskinesia is a movement disorder characterized by severe, dystonic, involuntary movement of the facial, oral, and cervical musculature. Dysomia is the sensation of unpleasant smell. Leukoplakia is used to describe a thickened, white plaque the will not rub or strip off and is not identifiable clinically or pathologically as any other disease.
