Answer to Question 1

A
Feedback:
Because little is known about the safety and efficiency of herbal supplements during pregnancy, it is recommended that they are not used during pregnancy and lactation. Because most substances cross the placental barrier, it is not known if the fetus is being exposed to potentially teratogenic effects.

Answer to Question 2

C
May factors contribute to obesity, including genetic, cultural, hormonal, and environmental fac-tors. The cause of obesity is therefore multifactorial.
