Answer to Question 1

C
Feedback:
To determine the percent weight change, subtract the current body weight from the usual body weight and multiple by 100, and then divide by the usual body weight. The answer will be the percent weight change. Because Mr. Y's admission weight is 150 lb and his current weight is 140 lb, the equation would be (150  140)  100 / 150 = 6.666666666667 or 7. This would indicate a significant weight loss.

Answer to Question 2

D
Feedback:
Snacks may consist of 2 to 3 carbohydrate choices each day on a 2000-calorie plan. The popcorn and nonfat milk best fit the guidelines.
