Katie and Susan, who have been best friends since childhood, purchase a cottage together on Conesus Lake. Katie is recently divorced and never had children. Susan has never been married and also has no children. Neither of them are close with any of their family members. How would you recommend that they take title to the property, and why?

They take title to the property as joint tenants with rights of survivorship since they are closest with each other and do not have other people to leave their interest in the property to.
