Answer to Question 1

A technology show will have the cutting edge technology that is available to the legal profession, including both hardware and software.

Answer to Question 2

At the top of the list should be the operating system. Although this is typically preloaded on most computers, the firm must decide on which operating system is appropriate for their needs. Other critical purchases are security programs that provide anti-virus and firewall protection. An office suite should be also be purchased that will allow for word processing and some file and data management. Next on the list would be the utility software to allow access to the Internet, as well as audio and video. Finally, specialty applications should be acquired to upgrade the case and file management of the office suite program.
