Answer to Question 1

Rather than being physical, emotional abuse takes many forms:
 Berating
 Belittling or demeaning
 Constant criticism
 Name-calling
 Blaming
 Threatening
 Accusing
 Judging
Trivializing, minimizing, or denying what a person says or feels.
Even if done for the sake of teaching or helping, emotional abuse cannot be justified because it wears away at self-confidence, sense of self-worth, and trust and belief in oneself. Because it is more than skin deep, emotional abuse can leave deeper, longer-lasting scars.
