Answer to Question 1

This technology allows for certain POS events to trigger an alert to managers via an RF (radio frequency) pager, text, or e-mail. Certain events concern loss prevention and security such as an extraordinarily large void or discount. Other notifications involve
events which may detract from the guest experience such as a long ticket time in the kitchen or a long waiting time to be seated. Alerts can also be configured to notify of events requiring recognition, such as the ordering of a bottle of wine from the reserve list, or a single guest check which exceeds 1,000 . This technology facilitates communication among the restaurant staff and insures that guests receive prompt and appropriate attention.
