Various examples and reasons can be provided. What is most important is that students are allowed an opportunity to reflect on how alcohol beverages have influenced themselves and/or their families throughout their lives.

Answer to Question 2

In Chapter 1, students learned about the information typically contained in a Business Plan. Students will no doubt refer to this information as they identify the specific informational demands lenders will likely place on those seeking funding. This question is also designed to illustrate to students that lenders will require similar information whether an operation will be started as an independent or as a franchised restaurant.
