Answer to Question 1

Answer to Question 2

There will likely be more restaurants that allow customers to become more of a part of the process of production of the food products and even the service of the foodservice operation. There is a segment of the retail/restaurant industry in which organizations allow people to plan and prepare their own meals for a week at a time. This type of service may become its own segment of the foodservice industry. The pendulum may start to swing back to people buying and preparing more food for home rather than spending as much on food away from home. There will also be a move to more locally produced food products that people can take home and use for healthier meals at home.
