Answer to Question 1

E

Answer to Question 2

If a promotion is to have its intended effect, customers must know about it.To ensure that guests know about the promotions they offer, managerstypically use external communication channels such as newspapers, magazines, radio, and TV. External signage can also be used. Whencustomers arrive at an operation, managers rely on internal selling tools suchas POP and POS posters and interior signage to encourage customers to takeadvantage of the promotion. Unless it is advertised effectively, even the bestsales promotion will fail simply because customers did not know about it.
