After a marketing plan has been successfully implemented, the effectivenessof its external and internal activities is evaluated by their ability to meet theplan's measurable objectives. These should include the operation's financialobjectives and its guest service-related goals. If the goals have been met, theplan was successful. If the goals were not met, changes to the plan must beundertaken to improve its chance of future success.
