Answer to Question 1

Companies and organizations should aggressively defend themselves against
unjust allegations, but they must do so within the parameters set by their values
and with sensitivity to the values of potential stakeholders.

Answer to Question 2

Yes. If the company has made strides in diversity, it should communicate those
changes to all stakeholders. It should want stakeholders to have an accurate
picture of the company. However, this has to be a sincere effort. Because of the
company's history, all claims will now be closely scrutinized. Half-hearted or
insincere efforts could wind up doing more damage to the company's reputation
than good.
