Answer to Question 1

(1)Reduce the amount of regrind (as a percentage) that is used during processing. This assures that the heat history of the total material will never become large, thus reducing the likelihood that degradation from accumulated thermal processing will occur. (2) Add thermal stabilizersmaterial s that preferentially accept the heat and, therefore, reduce the amount of heat encountered by the polymer. (3) Add processing aidsmaterials that facilitate processing, generally by allowing the processing to occur at lower temperatures. Hence, the total amount of thermal energy added to the system is reduced.

Answer to Question 2

In solids the inter-atomic and intermolecular forces are very strong. The particles

Although the Roman numeral for the number 4 has always been taught to have been "IV," according to historians, the ancient Romans probably used "IIII" most of the time. This is partially backed up by the fact that early grandfather clocks displayed IIII for the number 4 instead of IV. Early clockmakers apparently thought that the IIII balanced out the VIII (used for the number 8) on the clock face and that it just looked better.
