Answer to Question 1

The names of the sides of a PC board are component side and foil side. On the foil side the component leads are soldered onto the copper foil.

Similar to changing the font of labels, this can be done in the Dimensions page of the Model Info window. Set the type of line you want, select all dimensions, and update them.
