She is at very high risk for complications of elevated cholesterol or fats, such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, and atherosclerosis. She needs to make changes in her diet to reduce the intake of cholesterol to fewer than 200-300 mg per day. Total fat intake should be less than 30 of the total calories consumed. She needs to reduce her high fat meats and added saturated fats in her diet. She needs to be on a weight loss program and an exercise program.
