Hazel is in renal failure. She weighs 98 pounds and is 55 tall, and has shaky movements. She lives alone in an elderly-adult housing apartment. She has no transportation to the clinic for dialysis that has been ordered three times per week. Hazel has been admitted to a skilled nursing facility to enable treatment. She typically eats less than 25 of each meal.

Hemodialysis is usually done 3 times a week for 3-5 hours at a time.
