Ms. Janie, age 88, has been admitted to the emergency room with malnutrition. She has been living at home, alone. A neighbor brought her to the emergency room. When she missed seeing Ms. Janie for several days, she went to check on her and found her lying on the floor. The neighbor stated that for some time Ms. Janie has had little income.
