Answer to Question 1

C

Answer to Question 2

Children with cystic fibrosis have increased energy requirements, nutrient malabsorption, and reduced food consumption. They may need 10-100 more calories than healthy children their age to achieve normal growth and maintain optimal nutrition status. One of the characteristics of cystic fibrosis is the loss of sodium in sweat, so the liberal use of table salt is advised.
