Answer: Those high in dark triad traits are also more likely to engage in mate-poaching by stealing someone else's partner. Interestingly, dark triad individuals are also more likely to report that people have taken their mates. Perhaps people who start relationships with others' partners are more likely to lose their partners the same way.

Answer: Mate-poaching is stealing someone else's relationship partner.
