Answer to Question 1

Answer: Those high in dark triad traits are also more likely to engage in mate-poaching by stealing someone else's partner. Interestingly, dark triad individuals are also more likely to report that people have taken their mates. Perhaps people who start relationships with others' partners are more likely to lose their partners the same way.

Answer to Question 2

Answer: Mate-poaching is stealing someone else's relationship partner.

The danger from hypertension is the extra load on the heart, which can lead to hypertensive heart disease and kidney damage. This occurs without any major symptoms until the high blood pressure becomes extreme. Regular blood pressure checks are an important method of catching hypertension before it can kill you.
