The combination of hunger and poverty is hard for people to overcome in many poor countries because:
 a. there is not enough available land for them to buy to grow more food.
 b. there are not enough markets for them to go purchase foods from.
 c. not enough schools are available for the children to attend.
 d. hunger prevents them from working harder to improve their economic status.
 e. they don't have access to the medications needed to treat malnutrition.
