3) Assess dietary adequacy and supplement with vitamins and minerals to meet age-appropriate nutrient Dietary Reference Intake.
4) Monitor functional status and modify the care plan as appropriate for the psychosocial and physical needs of an aging individual.
5) Ask about special foods and alternative and complementary therapies.
6) Sugar alcohols in candies and gums are sweeter than sucrose and fructose and have fewer calories per gram.
