  sorts of nutrients are transported from the small intestine in
  each system.

The cardiovascular system (bloodstream) transports water
soluble nutrients from the small intestine to the liver. The
lymphatic circulatory system transports fat-soluble nutrients
from the small intestine; these nutrients initially bypass the
liver and enter the bloodstream.
