Binge drinking is consumption within two hours of five or more drinks by a man or four or more drinks for a woman. Blood alcohol concentration rises to 0.08 gram percent or above in 2 hours. Binge drinking is associated with alcohol-induced cardiac arrhythmia and it can lead to increased risk for fatal heart attacks.
