Answer: Studies show that differences in gene expression may be passed down to future generations. The genes themselves do not change but the way they are transcribed by the cells does.

Answer: A genotype is an organism's genetic predisposition whereas the phenotype is the observable characteristics of an organism that result from the interaction of the genotype and the environment.
