The best advice for someone who is a vegetarian is to:
 a. find out how much of each essential amino acid is required daily.
  b. determine how much of each amino acid is contained in favorite foods.
  c. consume a varied diet on a daily basis.

Most food labels will list the serving size, from which all of the facts on the label are related to. The label also lists the number of servings per container. People can relate their portion or serving sizes to common objects. For example, 1 ounce of cheese would be the size of a 9-volt battery or a cup would be the size of a tennis ball.
