Calcium is needed for bone mineralization.
Phosphorus is found combined with calcium in the crystals of the bones and teeth as calcium phosphate, and it is the chief compound that gives them strength and rigidity.
Magnesium promotes resistance to tooth decay by helping to hold calcium in tooth enamel.
Fluoride
protects children's teeth from decay and also makes the bones of older people resistant to adult bone loss (osteoporosis).
