Answer to Question 1

The statement culture is fluid refers to our tendency to migrate to and away from various cultures throughout our lives. For example, an individual may change religious membership, residence, career, or recreational pursuits, resulting in the loss or acquisition of cultural attributes. Thus, our own culture can change over time.

Answer to Question 2

A gatekeeper is one who controls the types of foods in the house, the access to and availability of those foods, opportunities for activity or inactivity, and meal patterns.
