Answer to Question 1

c

Answer to Question 2

It is logical to conclude that regulation of environmental factors, such as food availability and opportunities for physical activity, can influence diet and exercise habits, which in turn leads to the decrease or increase of obesity rates in a population. From an economic perspective, increased rates of obesity lead to higher costs to society in a number of ways, including direct health care costs or work productivity losses. Systematic change of environments has greater potential than education alone to affect overall diet and physical activity patterns in populations.
