Answer to Question 1

True

Answer to Question 2

The theory of planned behavior predicts a person's intention to perform a behavior in a well-defined setting.
According to this theory, behavior is determined directly by a person's intention to perform the behavior as well as the thoughts of significant others in his/her life. If the pregnant mother views breastfeeding as positive for her and/or her child, the significant others in her life (child's father, grandparents, close friends and family) view breastfeeding positively, and she believes that she can successfully breastfeed her child, then the intention, and the chance that she will breastfeed, are higher.
Conversely, if the pregnant mother and/or her significant others view breastfeeding negatively and/or she doesn't believe that she can breastfeed successfully, then her decision might be to bottle feed her infant.
