Answer to Question 1

Carbohydrates should contribute between 45 to 65 percent of the kcalories, so between 1125 and 1625 kcalories should come from carbohydrates. Fiber should be about 14 grams per 1000 kcalories, so he should be consuming about 35 grams of fiber. (14g fiber/1000 kCalories  2500 kCalories = 35 grams of fiber).
