Answer to Question 1

There is little or no evidence that this is true. Instead, organic foods are grown with no synthetic pesticides, fertilizers, or growth promoters. They also do not involve any form of bioengineering. Thus, the decision to purchase and consume organic foods is one based more on philosophy than on nutrition.

Answer to Question 2

If you are interested in a possible major in nutrition or a related field, then you will need to set up an appointment with a majors advisor in the department which houses the major.
