Answer to Question 1

It is recommended that women nurse their babies for the first six months of life and to continue nursing with supplemental foods into the second year of life or beyond.

Answer to Question 2

When water poured into clear plastic containers is left in direct sunlight for 6 hours, the combination of heat and UV radiation destroys common waterborne bacteria such as those that cause cholera, typhoid, and dysentery.
