Binge drinking is the consumption of five or more alcoholic drinks by men, or four or more drinks by women, in a very short time. Increased risks associated with binge drinking include unplanned and unsafe sex, sexual aggression and assaults, missed classes, motor vehicle accidents, unintentional injuries such as accidental falls, hypertension, heart attack, STDs, unintended pregnancies, sexual dysfunction, and blackouts.
