Antioxidants are substances that neutralize harmful oxygen-containing free radicals that can cause cell damage. Vitamin C, vitamin E, and beta-carotene are antioxidants.

Coenzymes are substances needed by enzymes to perform many chemical reactions in your body. Thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6, folate, vitamin B12, pantothenic acid, and biotin are all coenzymes. All are B vitamins.
