The ten leading causes of death in the United States are heart disease, cancer, respiratory diseases, accidents, stroke, Alzheimer's disease, diabetes, influenza/pneumonia, kidney disease, and intentional self-harm. Heart disease, cancer, stroke, and diabetes are related to nutrition.
