Answer to Question 1

Physically, alcohol is a depressant and inhibits sexual response in males if ingested in large amounts. Women who drink large quantities of alcohol seem to have difficulty achieving orgasm. Psychologically, women report an increase of sexual arousal. It loosens controls and inhibitions, thereby indirectly stimulating sexual behavior.
