These deep-sea holothurians (sea cucumbers) and brittlestars obtain food by
  1.eating prey that swim past.
  2.eating mud and digesting the bacteria and organic matter in it.
  3.migrating vertically to the euphotic zone each night.
  4.autotrophic means  they photosynthesize.
