Describe at least three ways to locate job prospects.
Networks, college career development centers, business news items, direct application, staffing services, federal government, newspaper advertisements, and prospects in another geographic area.

Answer to Question 2

Explain the disadvantages related to planning work and then following the plan.
Although management consultants recommend planning work and following the plan, planning may present several disadvantages. For example, planning may create rigidity; plans are difficult to create in a dynamic environment, one in which the environment changes frequently; plans tend to focus on what works today and not how to deal with the issues of tomorrow.
