Answer to Question 1

TRUE

Answer to Question 2

Sneak-and-peak warrants are legal authorizations for law enforcement officials to gain surreptitious entry into premises or areas, such as residences and offices, upon determination that evidence is likely to be present. Significantly criticized by privacy advocates, the constitutionality of these warrants has been upheld by the Supreme Court as early as 1979 . No-knock warrants are legal authorizations issued by a judicial officer that grants law enforcement permission to enter premises without first notifying the occupants or owners. Such warrants are issued only in cases in which there exists a risk of harm to evidence, officers, or the community. Examples will vary.
