Answer to Question 1

Answer to Question 2

The original anti-federalists were opposed to the ratification of the United States Constitution. The modern anti-federalist movement, sometimes called the Christian Patriot movement, has many variations. Some individuals live the movement's tenets without formally joining any organization. The Christian Patriot movement grew out of the posse comitatus and sovereign citizen movements that began during the 1970s and 1980s. The anti-federalists ideology is based on the idea that there is an urgent necessity to undermine the influence, legitimacy, and practical sovereignty of the federal government and its proxies. In this view, America has been hijacked by external forces determined to make it part of a New World Order in which the United States would be embedded in the United Nations or a global government and policed by foreign peacekeeping forces. Members see themselves as the successors to the nation's founding fathers, trying to restore America's true identity, values, and way of life.
