Null is not zero. Null is used to indicate that a value is unknown, and it is treated differently than other values because it has no value. Instances exist when querying records that contain fields with null values are necessary. The result of the IsNull function returns a Boolean valueTrue or Falsethat indicates whether or not an expression contains valid data.
