Answer to Question 1

The accreditation process begins with a self-study completed by the administrators, staff, and parents. Second, validation visits are made from the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, and finally, a decision is made by an Accreditation Commission from the Academy.

The number of staff members should vary according to group size, the ages of the children, and the complexity of the activities.
